Nestled in a lush green valley, framed by giant eucalyptus and willow trees, this cosy late Victorian cottage has been lovingly restored to enhance its historic charm and period features. With a warm colour scheme, rich textures, and a romantic nod to the golden age of jazz, a soothing, nostalgic atmosphere invites you to step back in time to escape the everyday.

There are two queen bedrooms, each with sumptuous French linen sheets and fluffy robes. Open fireplaces, with ample firewood provided, will keep you warm in the cooler months…snuggle up in front of the fire with a glass of wine and local cheese platter, choose a book from the selection provided, or play cards while listening to Ellington Grove’s very own playlist of soulful tunes.

The cottage has been beautifully furnished with a pair of rich green velvet lounges to sink into, Victorian armchairs, antique & vintage pieces, and soft lighting creating a cosy mood throughout. Many historic architectural elements have been restored – original hardwood floors, intricate baroque metal pressed walls & ceilings, and ornate fireplaces. The kitchen, however, has every modern convenience for you to prepare your favourite dishes. A coffee percolator/plunger and pantry staples are included.

Outside on the verandah, a deep free-standing bath has been positioned to take in stunning valley views and fiery sunsets. Five acres of Sapphire Coast hinterland is all yours to explore, including a magical gully, orchard with persimmon and fruit trees, and plenty of restful spots to enjoy a picnic lunch. Ellington Grove is the perfect getaway from it all; a magical sanctuary from life’s stresses. Where the only sounds are soft music, a crackling evening fire, and morning birdsong, it won’t take you long to unwind and relax.
